The PT-RC10 roof clips are suitable for use with Pr?tecTHERM heating cables,
to secure cables to shingle or metal roofs. In the case of a shingle roof, the
clips can be installed using nails or screws, while an adhesive must be used to
secure clips on a metal roof (screws or nails risk damaging a metal roof ).
Use hardware and follow instructions recommended in this guide. The use of
any other hardware or technique should be avoided as they risk damaging the
heating cable and cause a risk of fire, a risk of electrical hazard or the
heating cable’s poor performance.
