The Dragon™ Extreme is built for extreme heat protection and features an
outer layer of stainless-steel chain mail on the hand portion for the ultimate
in abrasion resistance.
Next to that is a tough shell of 100% woven Kevlar® for a non-melting
barrier against hot metal like handling metal rods in steel mills.
The third and fourth layers are heavyweight cotton terry. Terry is renowned
for it's insulating qualities. It traps air to provide a barrier against
temperature extremes.
