Description

We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team in our Montreal (Saint-Léonard) office.

The Credit Analyst is responsible for a portfolio of clients across several branches. The analyst evaluates credit requests of new and existing clients through research and analysis of financial documents, and shares its recommendations in a timely fashion. 


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Perform credit file reviews according to schedule and needs
  • Make collection calls and follow up regularly
  • Send letters of denunciation, receipts, etc.
  • Check and/or approve orders that request authorization
  • Temporarily suspend credit privileges as necessary
  • Analyse credit records of existing customers and assess potential risk
  • Complete comprehensive credit inquiries
  • Develop and maintain teamwork both internally and externally

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Five (5) years’ experience in a similar position
  • Degree in administration, accounting or other relevant discipline
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English both spoken and written.
  • Motivated and results-oriented
  • Tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to resolve conflicts
  • Credit experience in the construction industry is an asset
  • CFI accreditation is an asset
