Description

We are currently looking for an IT Technician Level 3 to join our team in Saint-Léonard.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The technician will provide on-site and remote support to employees for both software and hardware. Main responsibilities include the installation and configuration of computers and software.

The technician will demonstrate professionalism and effective time management in order to respect the priorities respective to each situation. The incumbent will be a team player, have great communication skills with both colleagues and users, and will provide support to administrators for specific projects.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure and support the Office 365 environment
  • Diagnose and solve level 3 issues
  • Ensure the maintenance of systems and applications
  • Management of backups
  • Draft various technical documents
  • Install, modify and repair computer and software equipment according to policies in place
  • Follow up with users to make sure their problem is resolved
  • Keep the JIRA ticket system updated (problems, solutions, etc.)
  • Offer excellent customer service with a positive, autonomous attitude
  • Any other related tasks

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • AEC or DEC in Computer Science and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the Microsoft environment (Office 365, Windows 10, Office 2016)
  • Ability to work in an environment that promotes teamwork
  • Ability to read and understand functional and technical documentation provided by various IT groups
  • Autonomy, rigor, sense of responsibility, communication, ease of learning, patience and the ability to work under pressure are desirable qualities.
  • Very good knowledge of English and French (written and spoken)

 

ASSETS:

  • Experience in the field of distribution / multi point-of-sales environment
  • Knowledge of JIRA
  • Experience with Lenovo and HP products
