Description

Its knowledgeable employees working in more than 100 Profit Centres in key locations across Canada ensure Guillevin's success by distributing a wide variety of products from selected world-class manufacturers. We are seeking a Product Information Specialist to join our team. 

Reporting to the Director of Product Information Management (PIM), the Product Information Specialist shall maintain and ensure integrity of all information received from suppliers, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Updating manufacturer price lists
  • Product information management into our InRiver platform (PIM).

 

RESPONSABILITIES:

Information Management Products (60%):

  • Update our InRiver Product Information Management (PIM) platform
  • Collect key attributes and specifications on the IDW platform
  • Communicate with suppliers for photos, descriptions and specifications of new products or even search the web as needed
  • Organize and maintain company web taxonomy
  • Propose taxonomy modernisations for an optimized web navigation experience

 

Updating manufacturer price lists (40%):

  • Price list validation through internal procedures
  • Build price matrixes using spreadsheet when necessary
  • Communicate with partners to gather missing information
  • Perform macros and Excel advanced formulas for price management
  • Write and organize product descriptions in both languages (French and English)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree in administration, completed similar studies or College degree with proven expertise
  • Strong skills in sorting data on spreadsheets (Excel) and using Office Suite
  • Bilingual, spoken and written
  • Organized, self-sufficient, resourceful and oriented towards tangible results
  • Understanding B2B business related to electrical product distribution, an asset
  • Aptitudes with InRiver platform (PIM), an asset
